You will be primarily based on-site at one of their customers within the Education sector in TW, working alongside a Senior Engineer who will guide you and train you.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a good foundation knowledge in IT Support or someone who has a passion for IT and is looking to get into the industry. You will be working within a Windows based environment providing 1st and occasional 2nd line support to a wide range of end users and utilising Active Directory, Group Policies, Exchange, O365 and more.

Key Requirements: –

  • Be the first point of contact for customers who need to raise a technical issue
  • Answering queries and resolving issues over the phone, email, and deskside support
  • Logging and resolving tickets as swiftly and efficiently as possible
  • If you are unable to resolve a technical issue, pass through to senior members of the team
  • Manage multiple tickets at one time

This role will pay a starting salary of £24,000 + a company benefits package.

Onsite work: Glasgow (35-hour week)

Responsibilities:

  • You will implement the environmental elements for the compliance management system, including environmental policies, risk assessments, procedures and guidance notes, and will communicate these to internal and external parties.
  • Responsible for implementing the operational aspects of the companies Sustainability Strategy, focussing activities on the Workplace, Marketplace and Community.
  • Provide specialist advice on sustainability and environmental legislative and contractual compliance for the project.
  • Manage the project’s Environmental Management Plan, Emergency Response Plan, Environmental Risk Profile and Aspects and Impact register.
  • Develop within the environmental management platform a project specific Environment and Sustainability Threats and Opportunities profile.
  • Implementing and continuous improvement of the business compliance management system to the ISO 14001 standard for the site.

Required experience:

  • You need knowledge of Ecology or Environmental Advisory.
