What you’ll be doing:
  • Responsible for managing members of the asset integration team and delivery of work scopes
  • Scoping and delivering asset integration and pre-operational activities for major site and infrastructure projects
  • Developing integration strategies and through life management plans
  • Liaising with and managing key stakeholders within the project, and end user function
  • Responsible for the integration of new assets and infrastructure into site business management systems
  • Implementing post-handover asset management arrangements
  • Production and validation of working level instructions
  • Deriving and developing operations, maintenance and asset management strategies

£51,000 starting salary. 37 hours per week, 3 days on ave on site.

Electronics Engineer

Electronics Engineer, £55k, Portsmouth, Hybrid.
My client is part of a leading Aerospace & Defence group with this opportunity being based in Portsmouth. They are looking for an Electronics Engineer who will be responsible for the electronic aspects of torpedo design, repair, and maintenance. The role will provide you with the opportunity to join various complex development projects. You will see various stages of the lifecycle and contribute through these phases.
Knowledge & Experience:
  • Design and development of electronic assemblies, from specification through to release into service
  • Maintenance of existing designs and implementation of technology insertion programmes
  • Ability to support off site trials activities
  • Support the testing of high voltage alternators using bespoke test equipment
  • Translation of requirements into design detail
  • Component selection, schematic capture, and support to PCB layout
  • Specification of bespoke procured items
  • Interfacing with related disciplines including mechanical/thermal engineering, ILS, Safety, and Production
  • Able to follow the engineering lifecycle and undertake progress, peer and design reviews
  • Experience of generating component level designs for introduction into volume production using computer-aided engineering
  • Experience of analogue to digital and digital to analogue conversion
  • Integration, design proving and defect resolution
As an Electronics Engineer working for this client, you will be earning a basic salary of up to £55,000 and will be entitled to a range of company benefits.
Due to the nature of this role, you will require SC clearance. You should be a Sole British Citizen, born in the UK & lived in the UK for 5 or more years.

Product Safety Engineer

Product Safety Engineer – Upto £51K pa – Weymouth

My client, a global leading business, have a requirement for a Product Compliance Engineer to join their Safety & Environmental team. You will be working as part of an Integrated Development Team, specifically focusing on ensuring that Product Safety tasking and activities are completed across multiple systems in support of project milestones through all stages of Engineering Life Cycle Management. The successful candidate will support Hazard Identification and Analysis studies, whilst assisting in the creation/generating safety reports.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Obtained or predicted 2:2 in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Engineering degree. In the absence of a degree, then sufficient and relevant work experience will be considered and a desire to obtain a degree will also be considered
  • An understanding of ‘Safety and Systems Engineering’ and of the ‘Engineering Life Cycle Management’
  • Experience working and delivering tasks as part of team, but also capable of working and delivering tasks unsupervised
  • The ability to be agile in working practices and customer expectations
  • Self-motivated, with good verbal and written communication skills
  • Practical experience as a Product Safety Engineer is preferable
