Location: Flintshire

Salary: £40k – £45k

What you’ll be doing – Maintenance Engineer – Electrical bias

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plastic injection moulding machines and extrusion lines plus auxiliary equipment – chillers, robots, granulators & air compressors etc)
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, including PLCs, control systems
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns
  • Implement upgrades or modifications to improve equipment performance
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards for all electrical work
  • Submit detailed daily activity reports

Your skills and experiences – Maintenance Engineer – Electrical bias

  • Strong experience maintaining industrial equipment
  • Strong expertise in electrical systems, including PLC programming and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with mechanical systems is advantageous but not essential
  • Digitally savvy – comfortable using computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Desirable

  • Proven experience in maintaining plastic injection moulding machinery or extrusion lines or similar industrial equipment

Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing Engineer – Initial 12 month contract

Salary: £32.47 DOE (Umbrella)

Location: Renfrew

As a Manufacturing Engineer you will be doing:

  • Take a ‘Zero Defects’ approach in all day to day activities.
  • Develop, implement, validate, maintain and continuously improve manufacturing processes
  • Create, maintain and/or govern elements which clearly define the manufacturing process and control them effectively.
  • Capture, analyse and use data to demonstrate and improve manufacturing processes.

Experience and skillset – Manufacturing Engineer

  • Qualified to HNC level in an Engineering subject or with experience
  • Computer literate and able to communicate effectively at all levels on technical issues.
  • General awareness of Manufacturing Systems
  • ‘Lean Principles’ understanding
  • Continuous Improvement mindset
  • Ability to read technical drawings related to manufacturing/repair process.

Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer

Location: Worcester

Salary: £40k – £50k + Bonus

What you’ll be doing – Quality Engineer

  • Ensure first-off parts are to drawing & specification; record and pass off as appropriate
  • Complete certificates of conformity and submit to clients
  • Complete 8Ds, SCARs, root-cause analysis and or 5Ys when necessary
  • Suggest and implement appropriate countermeasures (e.g. Poke Yoke)
  • Gather information, complete, and submit for approval PPAPs (incl APQPs, PFMEAs)
  • Conduct system audits as per schedule matrix
  • Manage and execute CMM report requests from customers/management, as directed
  • Suggest, and implement as directed, cost-saving & scrap reduction ideas

Your skills and experiences – Quality Engineer

  • Has worked in a similar role in the automotive or aerospace industry
  • It is essential that you have experience with ISO 9001
  • Be able to contribute to the PPAP process
  • Be able to use a variety of measuring equipment including; micrometer, vernier and CMM.

Desirable (but not essential) – Quality Engineer

  • Experience of working in plastic injection moulding
  • Demonstrable Lean/Six Sigma experience would be an advantage
  • Internal Auditor qualifications and experience would be advantageous

As a CNC Machinist you will be doing:

  • Operate a variety of Inspection equipment, including machine probing, micrometres, plug gauges.
  • Working on various CNC machining platforms
  • Interpretation of manufacturing drawings, customer drawings and written specifications.
  • Assessing quality of components are to specification

Skillet and experience – CNC Machinist

  • MUST HAVE completed an advanced modern engineering apprenticeship and an NVQ/SVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
  • Siemens control system experience is preferred.
  • Experience in 3 and 5-axis grinding, milling and turning.
  • Previous experience with aerospace components would be an advantage.

As a Maintenance Technician you will be doing:

  • Perform a range of routine, reactive, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance tasks
  • Installations, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on mechanically bias machines
  • Ability to perform alignment and geometry checks
  • Utilise hand tools and test equipment to deliver customer requirements.
  • Coordinate workload and mechanical activities with customers
  • Work with site Manufacturing Engineers to help understand and restore equipment
  • Work to control standards and procedures

Experience and skillset – Maintenance Technician

  • MUST HAVE completed an advanced modern engineering apprenticeship and an NVQ/SVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
