CNC Machinist / Inspector – 12-month contract

Salary: £31p/h + overtime (3 shift)

Location: Renfrewshire

My client is at the forefront of the global aerospace industry and this role lends perfectly for a machinist to have exposure to the wider business, potentially leading to further opportunities

As a CNC Machinist you will be doing:

• Multi-skilled Engineer with the ability to use a range of machine tools manufacturing high quality aerospace components
• General CNC machining, grinding, milling & turning
• Working on 3-5 axis machines
• You must be able to critique your own work undertaking both visually and dimensionally inspecting components
• Feeding back information to Manufacturing Engineer and team
• Maintaining our excellent quality standards, being an integral part of our manufacturing process

Skillet and experience – CNC Machinist

• MUST HAVE completed an advanced modern engineering apprenticeship and an NVQ/SVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
• Control system experience
• Experience in 3 and 5-axis grinding, milling turning, grinding
