Electromechanical Field Service Engineer

£38,000 salary + on call payments
Field based – ideally living within 20 miles of Wakefield
Covering the Midlands & North

At Atlas Recruitment Group, we’re working with a client who are looking for an Electromechanical Field Service Engineer to install, service and repair digital cinema and ophthalmic equipment.

This is a home based field role, where most jobs are planned within 90 minutes of your home (although occasional national or European travel may be required).

What you’ll be doing:

• Servicing and repairing digital cinema equipment
• Installing and maintaining ophthalmic equipment
• Diagnosing faults and solving technical issues onsite
• Delivering excellent customer service
• Managing paperwork, stock and service reports

What we’re looking for:

• Engineering experience (electrical / electronic / electromechanical)
• Strong problem solving skills
• Good communication and customer service
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently in a field role

Details:

• £38k salary
• 45 hours per week (Mon-Fri)
• 1 in 4 Saturdays
• 1 week in 4 on call rota (additional payments)
• Occasional early starts / late finishes
