Location: Rochester, Kent

Salary: Circa £40,000 DOE + overtime

What you’ll be doing – Industrial Engineer

• Driving the implementation and improvement of technology-based initiatives
• Researching new and emerging technologies, carrying out feasibility studies, cost analyses, and capital expenditure proposals for new equipment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy smart manufacturing solutions
• Driving automation and connectivity projects to improve system-to-system communication and overall business efficiency
• Monitoring and troubleshooting integrated systems
• Developing and maintaining data analytics tools

Your skills and experiences – Industrial Engineer

• Qualification in a relevant engineering discipline or time served in a similar role (HNC/Degree)
• The ability to analyse complex problems
• Some experience in introducing new technologies / tools into a business from concept through to implementation
• Experience gained within a manufacturing environment
• Some familiarity with 2D and 3D CAD packages
