Systems Engineer

Location: Portsmouth, Hybrid

Salary: £50k DOE

What you’ll be doing:

• Apply the systems engineering principles to support the design of systems through the entire engineering lifecycle
• Discern and decompose requirements to system and sub-system level
• Undertake system design decomposition and modelling to subsystem level
• Help to define and articulate acceptance strategies in order to verify requirement compliance
• Assist with technical reviews and verification of engineering technical design
• Collect and analyse real-world system data to understand performance, reliability, and usage patterns
• Analyse large, complex datasets

Your skills and experiences:

• Degree qualified
• Understands engineering life cycle principles and approaches underpinning design and development activities
• Demonstrates understanding, knowledge and experience of Systems Engineering
• Ability to perform data analysis on large, complex datasets using statistical methods (e.g MATLAB)
• Hands-on experience with complex, real-world systems
