Through Life Support Engineer (Technical Publications) – Warton – Hybrid – £39,316 – £43,323
Join our client, a leading global defense company, as a Through Life Support and Information Engineer in Warton*.
You’ll contribute to the Air business with innovative digital and systems engineering approaches. This dynamic role encourages collaboration across teams, supporting the delivery of quality products and capabilities.
*Please note this is a hybrid role which typically only requires one to two visits to site per month although it may require more during the probationary period due to training.
What You’ll Do:
Generate technical publications for Eurofighter Typhoon platform maintenance at various bases.
Collaborate with design teams and logistics support for integrated solutions.
Ensure publication quality per ASD S1000D, ASD-STE100, and regulations.
Support object verification activities, including travel as needed.
Develop work instructions and enhance the Quality Management System.
Explore emerging technologies for digital engineering and information systems.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
- Technical publications experience either with military aircraft or something of equivalent complexity.
- Strong engineering knowledge and configuration control skills.
- HNC/HND in relevant subject or equivalent experience.
- Proficient IT skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of IETP, ASD S1000D, and CSDB.
- Familiarity with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence).
- Experience with Siemens PLM Teamcentre or Raytheon EAGLE.
- STEM undergraduate degree.
