Data Systems Specialist

Preston, hybrid.
£40,000pa
This opportunity is with a Defence organisation and will require 5 years UK residency & Security Clearance.
As a Data Systems Specialist, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining data systems critical to safeguarding our nation.
What do you need?
· An advanced knowledge of Excel
· A good understanding of SAP or related HR / Finance technology system or platform
· The ability to manage change and prioritise your workloads
· To be self-motivated, enthusiastic with a positive attitude and a logical thinking mind-set!
The Role:
· Collaboration of project activities which require the capture of key actions, requirements and/or the design of new services, and translate the outcome into action plans with agreed timescales
· Representing the Team in the Change Management process assessing the impact of change. Provide subject matter expertise in developing, testing and delivery of systems and processes
· Supporting demand for complex large scale/major re-organisation projects which can include mapping of existing fields, people mapping etc.
· Managing HR data uploads, utilising an excellent working knowledge of our Organisation and People structures and the impact of adding mass data changes
· Sharing your expertise and developing your knowledge as you join the HR Data Systems Manager on ad-hoc projects
