We are currently searching for a Senior Engineer and Team Lead to join one of the world’s largest players in the aerospace & defence industry. These roles will be based out of their Preston site on a hybrid working model.

The focus of the role will be Through Life Support for their Support Information Systems for their Future Combat Air Systems (FCAS). Over time, you will then transition into Solution Design so a clear career pathway will be set from the outset.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting the engagement with customer and industry SMEs to understand and capture user and system requirements.
• Generating system specifications for preferred Logistics Information Systems.
• Identifying new and emerging technologies and how their implementation can benefit system functionality.
• Assisting in authoring strategies and plans for the design, development, test, qualification, certification, and implementation of logistics information system.

What’s required:

• Background in Defence ideally Aircraft Worthiness/Support
• Background in Integrated Logistics Support/Through Life Support
• Desirable: Understanding of: MBSE, CAMEO, MooD, UML, SysML, MagicGrid, DOORS, NAF, MODAF, TOGAF
