“Shared Infrastructure” Engineer
*Security Clearance is required*
New Malden OR Portsmouth – Hybrid
£50,000 – £60,000 pa
This position is with an Aerospace & Defence company, this will require full security clearance & 5 years UK residency.
Experience & Skills you need:
- Integration of COTS equipment.
- VMware (Horizon)
- Experience of Test Schedules.
- Systems Configuration experience.
- Human Factors knowledge.
- Configuration management.
- Good technical knowledge.
- Understanding of the need for change control.
What you’ll be doing:
· Undertake a defined range of SI related, systems engineering activities in line with all relevant processes and quality requirements.
· Technical analyses and investigations, including evaluation and selection of technical options, and prepare reports with suggested recommendations.
· Investigations into operational problems or developments and develop and prepare solutions.
· Prepare specifications, develop designs in line with specifications and all quality and technical standards, and carry out design appraisals.
· Participate fully in capturing requirements, designing, implementing, and testing software for the Shared Infrastructure system.
